In my experience, being aggressive tends to have more benefits than it does when you sit back and allow someone else to control the narrative. In South Carolina, you have three years from the date of the accident to file a lawsuit. However, that tends to put things on the back burner instead of putting both hands on the wheel. When you wait too long, my experience is that memories fade and important evidence tends to go missing. Additionally, once we file the lawsuit, it can sometimes take up to a year before your case can be called for trial. Therefore, we aim to have justice for our clients in a timely fashion. We believe that our clients have stronger advantages by filing lawsuits sooner rather than later.
