Integrity, Truthfulness, and a Team Built to Match

Hi, I’m Lanier Jones. I am retired from a company in Columbia called MedCo Marketing Communications. I became acquainted with Robert Goings when I was in the Columbia Rotary Club. Robert was a new member. I was the incoming president at the time. That was my first time of getting to know Robert, understanding who he is and the character of who he is and the integrity of who he is. I have been able to, on some occasions have a need for legal service. First time was a friend of mine who was in Charleston, got involved in a wreck, was rear ended and when I found out about it, I asked him how he was going to handle this. He didn’t know, so my suggestion was put him in touch with Robert. Robert and Robert’s team came, picked him up, took care of him. More than that, they befriended him. They coached him to know what to do, took care of all the things that this young man could not do for himself. And that is the mark of a good attorney. I met Robert not at the time of need. I met Robert at the time of friendship. What Robert has chosen as a career is basically his gift. And he takes that gift and he shares it with everybody that has a need. And he has invested in people in his firm, brought in other people, basically mentored them in the same philosophy that he has of integrity, of upstanding, of truthfulness. And the undercurrent of all of it is helping people with that. That is my friend Robert, that is my attorney Robert, and that is his firm.
