First Meeting Ready: What to Bring to Get the Most Out of Your Consultation
Video Transcript
What you need to bring to your first meeting with your attorney really depends on the type of claim you may have. But the short answer is that you should bring any information you have that will help the attorney evaluate your case. This will include collision or incident reports, medical records, photographs of your injury or damage, photographs of the car accident scene or the place where you were injured, any information you have regarding potential insurance coverage, and contact information for potential witnesses. If you’re not sure what to bring, call and ask. The better prepared you are for the first meeting, the more the attorney will be able to tell you about what to expect.
