What Is a Contingency Fee? Attorney Chris Paschal Explains
Video Transcript
A contingency fee means you don’t pay your lawyer upfront and you are not billed by the hour. Instead, the attorney is only paid if your case is successful. At Goings Law Firm, LLC, nearly all of our cases are handled on a contingency basis. That means we only receive a fee if we achieve a good outcome for you, and the fee is just a percentage of that total recovery. The contingency fee is important because it can really help take some of the financial stress off of our clients when medical bills and other expenses are already piling up after an injury.
