Nerve Damage From a Car Accident — and a Team That Handled Everything

Hi, my name is Shelia Steptoe, and I’m from Ballentine, South Carolina. I was in a collision a few years ago in Irmo, South Carolina. I was getting in the left hand lane to turn, and a car came across in front of me and turned directly into me. I’ve never been in a collision like that. Transported to the hospital and had CT scans, MRI and ended up having damaged nerve in my right neck and shoulder. The pain went into my right arm and right hand. I had physical therapy. It also had occupational therapy. My injuries from my car accident just had a huge impact on my quality of life. My elderly mother, who was 86 at the time, I was caring for her and it was very hard. I just wanted to get some legal advice and know what kind of options I had, because I knew there were going to be obviously medical bills and so forth.
